You’ll need a foot soaking tub or a cheap dish basin, Epsom salt, Dead Sea salt, bentonite clay, apple cider vinegar (ACV), and your favorite essential oils to create this Foot Detox Soak (DIY).
DIY Detox Foot Soak
2 gallons of hot water
1 pound of Epsom salt
1 cup salt from the Dead Sea
12 cup clay (bentonite)
12 cup apple cider vinegar
For this recipe, my preferred essential oils are wintergreen blends and peppermint to relieve pains, or lavender, which has been proven to restore liver and kidney function after pesticide exposure.
- Fill a basin with warm water big enough to fit your feet comfortably. Metal bowls should not be used since they may decrease the efficacy of bentonite clay.
- Epsom salt, Dead Sea salt, bentonite clay, apple cider vinegar, and your favorite essential oils are all good additions.
- Soak your feet in a warm bath for 20–30 minutes.
To eliminate calluses and dry skin buildup, gently exfoliate your feet with a pumice stone or with my DIY foot scrub after soaking. To conclude, use a decent moisturizer.
