DIY Hemorrhoid Cream

Hemorrhoids are a common condition that affects millions of people.

Turmeric is a spice that has been used for centuries. It is most commonly used in Indian and Asian cooking. Turmeric may be beneficial for hemorrhoids because it helps with inflammation, pain relief, and healing.

Hemorrhoids are an unsightly condition that affects roughly 4% of individuals in the United States. The severity of your hemorrhoids will determine how you treat them, but very simple treatment will provide significant relief in most situations. Surgery and stapling are only used in extreme situations if topical therapy has failed.

The good news is that there are a variety of natural hemorrhoid home remedies available. First, let’s go through what hemorrhoids are, often known as piles. There are two kinds of them. Internal hemorrhoids are inflamed veins located within the skin of the rectum region and are one variety. On the other hand, external hemorrhoids are seen externally, near the anus region.

Some external hemorrhoids may be seen protruding from the interior of the anal canal. Some of these can be pushed back into the canal, but others cannot, resulting in distended or prolapsed hemorrhoids. This may create a lot of issues and pain and obstruct the bowel movement channel. In the worst-case scenario, they may result in thrombosed hemorrhoids, which are blood clots.

What is the source of these vexing, itching protrusions? Under certain circumstances, the veins surrounding the anus region may get strained, producing bulging and swelling. This may be caused by bowel straining, sitting on the toilet for long periods of time, chronic diarrhea or constipation, obesity, pregnancy, anal intercourse, and a low-fiber diet. Because the tissues that support the veins in the rectum and anus weaken and stretch with age, hemorrhoids become more common.

Let’s make a home treatment for hemorrhoids now that you know a bit more about what might be causing anal pain! There are a few things you may do right away to give relief, such as applying witch hazel directly to the affected region using a cotton ball. You may also unwind in a sitz bath, which is sitting in a bath of warm water until your hips are submerged. Do this every day for 10–15 minutes.

Hemorrhoid Cream (DIY)

Place the shea butter in a double boiler or a glass dish that fits inside a pan to prepare your DIY hemorrhoid cream. It could become heated, so be cautious. Shea butter includes vitamin E and vitamin A, both of which aid in combating inflammation while easing dryness and irritation.

Heat the shea butter gently until it melts on a low burner, then add the coconut oil and aloe vera and combine thoroughly. We also know that benefit-rich coconut oil has dominated the stage for a long time due to its antibacterial properties, which aid in infection prevention while also providing moisturizing comfort. Aloe vera is an excellent component for providing calming relaxation as the body heals. Aloe vera also helps to relieve irritation and inflammation and has long been used to treat anything from sunburn to psoriasis.

Add the apple cider vinegar and witch hazel at this point. This fantastic pair makes all the difference when it comes to skin healing. As natural astringents, they aid in reducing inflammation, swelling, infections, and skin irritations. Stir to combine these items after they’ve been added.

Finally, we’ll include the essential oils. Lavender oil is high in antioxidants, which may aid with a variety of skin issues by decreasing inflammation. For any kind of skin irritation, tea tree essential oil is one of my go-to’s. Tea tree essential oil has antibacterial characteristics, making it an excellent complement to this homemade hemorrhoid medication.

Turmeric essential oil is another wonderful oil that relieves pain by calming irritated skin and aids in the healing of any cracks that have formed.

Transfer all of the ingredients to a glass jar with a tight cover after they’ve been combined. For greatest results, use twice daily. Seek the assistance of your practitioner if you don’t observe improvements after a few weeks or if you feel any unexpected pain.
